Often the orchestra performances at the DFP are more than just music but an immersive multi-sensory experience. Whether it’s a symphony inspired by a movie or video game, or as part of a stage play, the Concert Hall’s visual systems play an equally important role in bringing the music to life in spectacular fashion.
Stage lighting is provided by a complete ETC lighting system of Source Four Pars for concert down lights. A variety of Source Four Profiles provide stage lighting washes. The system is controlled by an ETC 250 Channel Express console or ETC Expression-3 800 Channel and ETC sensor dimmers.
Built into the ceiling void above the stage is a motorized roll-down projection screen that is surrounded by motorized side and top masking border panels. A video image of 10 m wide x 7 m high can be projected onto the screen from a throw of about 34 m with HD projection capability.
