Our Community Partners have 3 different packages to choose from: Appreciate, Inspire and Innovate.
Appreciate : a programme of activities for students
- Education Outreach – The activities focus on helping the academic community to appreciate and enjoy classical music. The team of MPO musicians, all experts in the field and also passionately devoted to music, visit schools, colleges and universities to share their love of music with the young and the young-at-heart through live performances, workshops and demonstrations.
- The MPO Schools’ Concerts – These concerts are designed for students and their teachers to get to know more about classical music. Everyone will have fun while improving their understanding and enjoyment of music in these specially-created interactive concerts.
Inspire : nurturing and showcasing musical talents
- Musical Jamboree – Showcases the talents of Encounter’s students in an annual recital held at DFP. From solo and chamber to large ensemble performances, this event provides a great platform for music making and live performance. Feel the excitement generated by these young performers and the power of team work.
- Instrumental Lessons – The fundamental aim of the MPO Instrumental Lessons Programmme is to develop young musical talents and refine their skills to the highest performance caliber in Malaysia. Sponsorship of musical instruments for young talents of limited means can be arranged.
Innovate : encouraging innovation by home-grown composers
- MPO FORUMplus for Malaysian Composers – A platform of opportunity for established and emerging Malaysian composers to refine their craft, share best practices, make new contacts and work in the country’s best acoustic performance hall with musicians of the highest caliber. The ultimate aim being to create new works that will further enhance Malaysia’s burgeoning arts scene.
- Sponsors of the MPO FORUMplus will have right of association over the new works resulting from the platform.
In appreciation for the support as an MPO Education & Outreach Sponsor, company may enjoy a variety of special benefits and recognition; including:
- Invitations to attend all Education & Outreach Programmes launches and other special events.
- Logo acknowledgement as the Sponsor of the MPO’s Education & Outreach Programmes at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS Corporate Sponsor Board, at each sponsored event, on MPO's website and on all correspondence and collaterals.
- Mention in all media releases as the Sponsor of the MPO’s Education & Outreach Programmes.
- Opportunity to distribute corporate gifts and relevant corporate brochures to students, audiences, participants.
In the event that tax exemption is preferred for a cash donation we are happy to apply such amount towards the above activities. However, no branding/corporate acknowledgement or tickets may be given in consideration of such donation. |
